Educational Qualification: In 1996, Tallur completed his BFA in Painting, Chamarajendra Academy of Visual Arts (CAVA), Mysore University, India followed by MFA in Museology, Maharaja Sayyajirao University of Baroda, Gujarat, India in 1998.

Thereafter, in 2002, he completed his MA in Contemporary Fine Art Practice, Leeds Metropolitan University, Leeds, UK.
