Usually for kids book club, I choose the book. But, in the interest of recognizing that the girls have their own distinct taste in books, I always try to remind the girls that they are welcome to share ideas and suggest titles.

This time, we were all whisked away into Edward Eager&#;s world of Half Magic. Alongside Jane, Mark, Katherine and Martha, we began an adventure with a seemingly ordinary coin that turns out to be an ancient talisman granting half wishes.
