Paul Rodriguez is an American comedian and actor of Mexican descent. He was born in Culiacán, Sinaloa, Mexico, into a family of immigrant farmers.

His family later moved to East Los Angeles. After serving in the aviation industry, Rodriguez decided to pursue a college education with a focus on legal studies. However, during his selective courses, he discovered a passion for comedy.
